• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers for construction materials and equipment. Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms.
• Budget Management: Monitor procurement costs to ensure alignment with project budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels and ensure timely ordering of materials to avoid project delays due to shortages.
• Compliance and Regulations: Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, environmental, and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to supply chain, cost fluctuations, and material shortages, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and requirements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of procurement processes, including contracts, invoices, and purchase orders.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in procurement within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Skills:
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials and industry trends.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
